Don is a graduate of the Humber College Music Program, and has studied extensively with Peter Harris, Robert Fripp (King Crimson) in West Virginia, U.S., and Howard Roberts, founder of the Guitar Institute of Technology. He has also performed with notable Toronto musicians Rick Gratton, Alex Dean, and Molly Johnson, and is now focused on teaching. A versatile teacher with more than 30 years experience, Don is patient, easy going, and injects fun into his lessons to achieve solid results. He inspires his students from his experiences, building solid instrumental technique,and a greater understanding and appreciation of music. Don specializes in Rock, Jazz, Classical, Country and Folk styles and their influence in popular music.

James currently holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is now pursuing a Master of Music degree in performance from the University of Toronto with Dr. Jeffrey McFadden, which will be completed in June of 2023. As a performer, James has played in rock bands, musicals, operas, and classical chamber groups. As a teacher, James enjoys working with students towards their musical goals, whether recital, exam preparation, or even learning their favourite songs. James believes in tailoring lessons to each student and their musical interests.

Jeremy Carandang (Piano, Theory)

Jeremy is a songwriter and music producer. He has a Bachelor’s of music from Wilfrid Laurier University. He has been playing piano since the age of 6 and has performed in various ensembles at school as a pianist. Jeremy specialises in teaching RCM piano and theory but is also experienced in teaching various genres such as jazz, improv, pop, and r&b. He has a kind and patient approach and has many years of teaching experience. Jeremy is a passionate music teacher committed to helping his students. His goal is to foster the musical growth and creativity of his students while instilling a strong foundation in music theory. He believes that music is a way of expression and hopes that his students can freely express themselves through music.

Joshua Sinclair (Piano, Theory)

Josh Sinclair is a pianist, organist, composer, and teacher in the GTA. He completed his Masters degree in jazz piano from the University of Toronto where he studied with David Braid and Chris Donnelly, among others. He also completed his ARCT from the Royal Conservatory of Music and his CRCCO from the Royal Canadian College of Organists. Josh has worked as an organist and choir director at multiple churches in the GTA for over 10 years. He actively performs as a jazz pianist in venues across Toronto.
Josh has worked as a piano teacher for several years and as a RCM certified piano teacher has successfully prepared many students for RCM exams. He aims to inspire his students and encourage an appreciation of music.

Justin See (Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Tuba, Theory)

Since graduating from Humber College in 2014, Justin has been very active in the Toronto music scene. He has played styles ranging from Jazz and Classical to Pop, Rock, Soul, R&B, Salsa, Mariachi, and others. He has performed as a regular member of groups varying in size from Brass Quintets to Jazz Orchestras. As a teacher, Justin has taught private brass and woodwind lessons, and is also the conductor of the Etobicoke Jazz Band, a 22 piece swing band comprised of high school and university students.

Lobat Nourdeh (Piano, Theory, Voice)

Lobat started studying music theory and piano at the age of 10. After high school, she studied music composition for seven years in Regional Conservatory of France. Shorly after, Lobat earned her A.R.C.T diploma for piano, and her grade 8 rcm certification for voice. Since 1991, Lobat has been teaching piano (up to grade 11), voice, and music theory.

Nick Rendeiro is a multi-talented composer and performing artist in the GTA. After graduating from Mohawk College in 2017, Nick is continuing his studies in Honours Music at McMaster University. Nick aims to develop a career in music education and performance within the GTA. He is also an established songwriter who has worked on several projects, which include scoring on numerous films and composing lyrics and music for Mohawk College’s 50th anniversary theme song.

Selyne Bower (Piano, Theory)

Selyne is a certified teacher for the Peel District School Board. She has been teaching piano for over 10 years, and enjoys incorporating creative teaching techniques in lessons to encourage the learning process. Selyne is also an active performer in the GTA, and has shared the stage with many artists including Carly Rae Jepsen and Dragonette.

Victor Agrippa (Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Theory)

Victor Agrippa is an alumni from Humber College, specializing in playing and teaching woodwind instruments (Saxophone, flute and clarinet). He has been playing and studying music for 12 years, under the tutelage of many seasoned professionals around the GTA. Throughout his musical career Victor has played a variety of styles of music in numerous bands. From being part of a symphony orchestra, a big band, various Brazilian ensembles and numerous smaller ensembles, the diversity in playing experience has only been a benefit to his teaching ability.
